Lucerne - Enjoying perhaps one of the most scenic and picturesque settings in the whole of Switzerland. Situated within the tourist region of Central Switzerland the city is lapped by the shores of Lake Lucerne, whilst the mountain peaks of Rigi and Pilatus are clearly visible in the distance and offer nothing short of a breathtaking backdrop. Enjoy a cruise on beautiful Lake Lucerne.
William Tell Express – The William Tell Express links two of Switzerland’s most attractive regions: Central Switzerland and Ticino. The world-famous Gotthard line will take you through the awesome Reuss Valley with its deep ravines and precipitous cliffs swiftly climbing from 470 to about 1100 metres above sea level to finally enter the 15-kilometre long Gotthard tunnel in Göschenen. Countless spiral and horseshoe tunnels, galleries and bridges testify to the remarkable achievements of the men who built this masterpiece of civil engineering. In the Leventina Valley, the William Tell Express crosses breathtaking cantilevered bridges and passes charming villages on its way to Bellinzona. The Glacier Express - Considered by some, the most famous railway in the world the Glacier Express travels from Zermatt to Davos or St. Moritz in around seven hours. It is a day trip through untouched mountain landscapes, glamorous health resorts, deep gorges, delightful valleys, 91 tunnels and across 291 impressive bridges. The finest vistas will unfold for your delight in the panorama viewing car of the slowest express train in the world: you'll roll right up to the clouds, float in paradisiacal surroundings and experience moments of elation on this journey of the senses.
Interlaken – is located in the Bernese Oberland on an alluvial plain, between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Renowned for its impressive mountain scenery Interlaken is presided over by the three mighty mountains, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. As well as excursions available on the Bernese Oberland and Jungfrau Railways, cruise boats, including historic paddle steamers, ply the waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz.
